There’s nothing like the thrill of an overtime game-winning goal, or the magic of a vow-sealing kiss. A photo encapsulates it all--the emotions and feelings, creating a moment frozen in time. Sharing its story is my passion.
I’ve lived from coast to coast but currently call the DC area home. My background is in visual storytelling. I graduated from George Mason University with a BA in Film & Video Studies and a double minor in Sport Communication and Graphic Design. But where's the photography?! Well, I taught myself on the side, and turned my new found success into a career. I create content for MLB Advanced Media, the NFL, and NHL covering the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Ravens, and Washington Capitals. I was the Washington Redskins Photography Intern for the 2016 season and still assist on a freelance basis.
In early 2016, I joined SkipperFilms Video Production crew in Leesburg, VA as their head photographer, and lead wedding film editor. Over time I learned so much about weddings just from editing their films that I developed a love for photographing them myself. I started booking in 2018 and I haven't looked back. It's the most exciting day of my client's life and it's truly an honor to be the one to capture it! Getting to know and work with them as well as seeing them excited and eager to show off their photos is one of the best parts of what I do.

Meet Mike
Engineer by day, creative by night,
Mike Woods is my assistant on weddings and engagement shoots.
He creates the coolest cinematic angles--it's often the shot of the day! Coming from a video background, he has grown to love still imagery. His nights are spent dabbling on the guitar and writing lyrics. A jack of all trades!
He's an incredible human being, and I'm so lucky to have him by my side!
